During my stay, the location was unbeatable, just a 1-minute walk from the subway station. The room was luxurious and cozy, perfect for escaping the winter chill. I loved the convenience of the laundry room and the vending machine for drinks that added a nice touch to my experience.

The room was clean and spacious for our family of four. The shuttle service to the Golden Temple was very convenient. On the downside, finding the hotel on Google Maps was challenging due to its Japanese name.

The hotel offers impeccable quality of service.

I experienced significant delays with the lifts, often waiting over 10 minutes due to confusion with other guests. Additionally, a staff member insisted on checking my identification, which felt unnecessary and invasive as a foreign national. The breakfast selection was also underwhelming. items like bacon and eggs were served cold, leaving much to be desired.

Our family enjoyed the cozy deluxe twin room, complemented by the thoughtful addition of extra beds. The stunning lounge area was perfect for unwinding after exploring. Don't miss out on the nearby coffee shop for excellent brews and a quick breakfast alternative. Ensure to use the hotel's laundry facilities for convenience!

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Monday Kyoto Marutamachi. The location is absolutely perfect, being just a short walk from Marutamachi subway station. The staff were exceptionally helpful, providing assistance with my luggage and offering local recommendations. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and delicious, with plenty of options.

The laundry facilities are inadequate, especially during busy times!!! The bathtub is a tad short for taller individuals, making it awkward!!! More vending options would certainly enhance the experience!!! Improve directions for those struggling to find the hotel on maps!!!

Great rooms with super comfortable beds. Check-in was a breeze. Easy access to subway and bus stops right beside the hotel. The complementary tea was a delightful touch. Breakfast had a good mix, especially enjoyed the Japanese style. Staff kept our luggage safe before check-in, which made exploring easier. However, the room was a bit cramped for our family. I found some cleanliness issues under the bed, and we struggled with dropping our laundry as the dryer took longer than expected. Despite these minor hiccups, the overall experience was solid, and I would return.

The rooms were really comfortable, and I loved the bottomless tea during my stay! For relaxation, the hotel had a nice lounge area and a delightful garden to unwind in. The only minor issue was that my room could have used a bit more cleaning attention, but that didn’t ruin my overall experience. 😊
